UnionsWA Secretary Owen Whittle will delivery this year's Harold Peden Memorial Lecture on Thursday 18th November, 2021 hosted by the Perth Branch of the Australian Society for the Study of Labour History. Owen is one of the youngest people to be elected as Secretary of UnionsWA. He was elected to this role earlier in 2021, after serving for eight years as Assistant Secretary of UnionsWA in which role he led a major campaign for occupational health and safety law reform resulting in the successful modernisation of work health and safety laws.
