UnionsWA is excited to launch the Organisers Network in 2023!
The Organisers Network will provide an opportunity for organisers across the union movement to come together, share their knowledge and experiences, learn new skills and build a strong network of unionists determined to make change.
What does the session involve?
The first Organisers Network session will be held on Friday 3 March 2023 from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, followed by networking drinks and nibbles.
The topic is 'Bringing Together Frameworks, Experience, and Practice for Organising in Diverse Workplaces'.
This hands-on session will review theory and relevant case studies for organising diverse workplaces, and will give organisers an opportunity to apply the learning to their own work.
The session will be convened by Adrian Barrett, Assistant Secretary, Health Services Union of Western Australia, and Lydia Berhan, Educator/Organiser, United Workers Union.
It will be held at UnionsWA, located at Level 6, 445 Hay Street, Perth.
Participants are invited to join networking drinks and nibbles from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
Am I eligible to attend?
