Did you know that in Indonesia today there are still 24 asbestos manufacturing factories?

APHEDA Union Aid Abroad, UnionsWA and Labor for Aid are proud to sponsor this address in Australia by two leading Indonesian unionists on Wednesday 9 May.  Please provide details below to RSVP.

Darisman has been an organiser and lead campaigner for LION, a non-profit organisation focused on increasing health and safety awareness located in Bandung, West Java since 2008. Subono is a former factory worker and now union leader who worked for 20 years in an asbestos manufacturing factory. You can read their biographies here)  

Darisam and Subono will be introduced by the WA Minister for Asian Engagement, Commerce and Industrial Relations, the Hon. Bill Johnston MLA.
