Australian Services Union (ASU) Industrial Organisers make regular regional trips during which they visit Women’s Refuges to meet with our members.

These important organisations provides shelter for Women and their children escaping family and domestic violence who usually walk in with nothing other than the clothes they are wearing.  

At the May Day festival the ASU will be collecting donations of toiletries and new (tags-on) socks and underwear for both women and children. There will be two purple donation bins at our ASU stall.  This is an ideal opportunity to clean out your cupboards of hotel toiletries you brought home from holiday or those well intended presents from Grandma that you’re never going to get around to using!
