News News Now taking Expressions of Interest for the Anna Stewart Memorial Project for 2010

UnionsWA will run the Anna Stewart Memorial Project over one week from Monday 8 November – Friday 12 November 2010.

The project gives participants information about how unions work, why they exist, what unions are doing about industrial issues that effect working women and a chance to work on their confidence and be a leader in the workplace.

Since 1985, this Project has has inspired many participants and been a unique opportunity to experience and become actively engaged in their union and the wider WA union movement.

The Project places participants into a union environment for on-the-job training, providing them with a unique insight into the day-to-day operations of union organising. The Project includes formal workshops, presentations and numerous networking opportunities.

UnionsWA is currently calling for women interested in taking part in the Project.

There is more information in the flyer below and you can print off and fill in the Expression of Interest form and return it to Project Coordiantor Keryn Anderson - details below.
