News News Pay Equity and Female Workforce Participation

Progress on women's rights to equal pay has been hampered by the dismantling of institutions that can directly and effectively intervene in the labour market.  This is nowhere more apparent than in WA, where the pay gap is now 28%.

A properly regulated labour market is essential to addressing the yawning gap that still exists between men and women's wages, UnionsWA says in a joint submission on pay equity.
